CUPID'S HAVANESE PUPPIES

 What about housebreaking?   Our Cupids Havanese puppies will start litter box training at 5 weeks old.  By the time they go home they are typically using the puppy litter box most of the time!!  The box is positioned on the opposite end of their PUPPY PLAY PEN from their bed, food, and water.  Using the puppy litter box is especially helpful during the night, when you are away from the home, before they have received all their vaccinatiolns, or during bad weather. Many families continue using a litter box when they are adults. When older they can also be taught to go potty ouside at a designated potty spot which like the litter box will become the place "to go"!  It's good to have an indoor option even for adult dogs which simplifies your life and means less accidents in the future.
